[Out of all the things Garnet could do, this was probably one of the last thing she had on her mind. Of course, after watching Greg play a game of pinball, she couldn't help but be curious and to try it herself.
Of course, the trouble now was exactly how to start...or maybe, the better word would be how to win it]

hey ho here we go
Garnet! [she calls, and hopes that Garnet will at least answer her]
/tucks in cover
Which was why she didn't respond back at first. Don't mind her just staring at the game, Pearl!]
no subject
Pearl moves forward, squinting her eyes as she tries to figure out what Garnet's next move is. R U OK??]
Is... everything all right?
no subject
Either way, once Pearl made her way toward, the leader didn't seem surprised. If anything, she merely looked at her as if she always knew she was there]
Hm? Yes, everything's alright, I was looking at this and wanted to see why people were fascinated with it.
[/deadpan]
no subject
Ah, so you're observing! That's good! [she looks pleased. if only more people would observe before just foolishly running into something] But I think you'd have better luck learning about it if you turned it on.
no subject
However, despite her words, Garnet was still somewhat nervous about starting the game. Of course, after much deliberation, she eventually came to a conclusion!]
I was going to but I think you'll probably have a bunch better time handling the game than I could.
no subject
Huh? Me? Really? [she eyes the pinball game. Pearl knows how it works, has seen it in action, but she's never played with one. still, to be told by Garnet that she'd be better at it than her... huh, Pearl's cheeks become warm]
no subject
[That and she had a feeling she can't play it without future vision getting in the way. And boy, did she learn from that
embarrassing mistake.]But if you need help, you should let me know.
no subject
Well! I guess I'll... give it a try!
[hm... how to work it. aha! she finds a quarter in her pocket (it had been on the floor of their house, and she'd picked it up) and puts it in the machine. it immediately comes to life, flashing lights and playing music]
no subject
[And yet again, she found herself staring to wonder exactly how would Pearl would react on every single move. Would it go well or...?]
no subject
anyway, Pearl pulls back the handle and sets the ball into motion. gotta keep it moving, so she moves her hands to the flickers]
no subject
[While it was handy at times, she had to admit. Having future vision wasn't the best thing in the world.
Which was why all she could do is watch Pearl play and trying to hold back on during her abilities. She definitely looked like she wanted to tell her and yet...]
no subject
Well, now, that wasn't fair at all!
no subject
[And you know, totally not telling her the future there. Nope, not at all, what are you talking about?]
no subject
no subject
Just remember what I said, just keep your eye on the ball and you'll be fine.[She's seriously trying to help you, listen to her!]
no subject
What's next?
no subject
[That and using future vision too much would result in what happened back then. She can't do that again. That was enough embarrassment and almost jeopardised the mission.]
no subject
I seem to recall a lot more lights flashing the last time I saw someone play this thing. [kachnk! the ball falls past the flippers again] I wonder how to make that happen...
[so now Pearl is looking over the pinball machine as a whole, seeing the numbers next to certain areas. that must be how you earn points, she guesses]
Totally not late here
[She said as she pointed to said bumpers and then to said numbers]
...Or at least, that's how Steven told me.
naaaah
this is the last ball she has, so she has to make it count]
no subject
In no way could this go wrong.]
Alright, now... The ball's entered the box, see? [She points it out.] So, all you have to do is pull back this lever to catapult it into the game.
no subject
But still, she gave a chuckle before pulling the catapult.]
Don't worry, Rose, I know exactly what I'm doing. Although, it sounds like you played this game before.
no subject
I may have played around with it for a little while. [More like an hour.]
I hope you're happy for this
[Somewhere, somehow, don't mind Garnet just chuckling to herself.
She mumbled before trying her best to play said game. With the ball rolling around, the problem now was trying not use her third eye. ...Which was proving a lot harder than it looked as she stumbled a bit]
SO happy
Hohohoho! A ball!!! Haha, that's so clever!
no subject
[As Garnet tried to get to the ball to the other side, she mumbled to herself. This was starting to get a bit difficult without her powers now...]
no subject
Go Garnet! Go Garnet!~]
no subject
In goes the ball!]
...That could have gone better than I thought. [/Deadpan]
no subject
You did a lot better than I did on my first try. [She may have... attempted to lift the machine up from the ground and roll the ball around that way. Greg had freaked out pretty badly.]
no subject
Then what did you do? Sounds like it didn't go too well.
no subject
[Still kind of unfair, in her opinion. If you're capable of lifting the machine, why not use that to your advantage?]
no subject
In other words, you lifted the machine didn't you?
no subject
no subject
Rose, you do know that's cheating right?
no subject
I do now...!
no subject
Then it just means I'll need to keep an eye on you. I don't think we can afford to have you cheating again.
no subject
no subject
[Not that Garnet is being serious buuutttt...just in case!]
no subject
[That pinball machine, though. That pinball machine....!]
no subject
But then again, since it's Garnet, she may or may not be serious either]
